CNC Machining

In my endeavor to fully understand the significant impact of Additive Manufacturing (AM) on the manufacturing industry, it was crucial for me to immerse myself in the details of Reductive Manufacturing and CNC Machining. Through learning to operate various Haas CNC machines, I observed how significantly the available tools and manufacturing processes can shape, and at times, limit product design.

By dovetailing my foundational knowledge in AM with this newfound proficiency in reductive CNC methods, I've been able to cultivate a comprehensive, well-rounded approach to manufacturing and product design. This harmonious blend of additive and reductive perspectives has proven invaluable in expanding the breadth and depth of my understanding.

The following images offer a snapshot of my journey into CNC machining. The depicted machining procedures were carried out on HAAS machines (VF3, VF2, DT) using aluminum 6061 as the material.
