Faces
Faces are the pinnacle of personal expression and communication. Typically composed of four major elements: the eyes, ears, nose, and mouth, the face is unlike anything else. Throughout this collection, I experimented with facial expression. I studied the four major elements of the face and unpacked the meaning behind the overlooked nuances, details, and abstractions that create expression. By using patterns, exaggeration, and the personification of objects, I interpreted and titled what the face has to offer. Each face has a unique story and expression.
